Sintered AlNiCo magnets are made using the same traditional powder metallurgy technology as other sintered permanent magnets. These magnets have slightly lower overall magnetic properties than cast AlNiCo magnets and are thus less commonly used.
Sintered AlNiCo magnets are produced using the same traditional powder metallurgy technology as other sintered permanent magnets. These magnets have slightly lower overall magnetic properties compared to cast AlNiCo magnets, making them less commonly used. However, they are ideal for small-sized (less than 28 grams), thin, light, and uniquely shaped magnets. Sintered AlNiCo magnets offer better mechanical strength and machinability, along with high dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances, eliminating the need for additional machining steps. Compared to cast AlNiCo magnets, sintered AlNiCo magnets have a higher material utilization rate, less composition segregation, and more consistent magnetic performance in large-volume production.
